Two Formats
The 200 hour program offers the option of choosing one of two different formats:
NON-RESIDENTIAL
(1) The weekend non-residential Yoga Teacher Training runs one weekend per month from September to June. January and February are stay-at-home practice teaching months.
In late June and early July — We provide a final 7 day yoga retreat at Shining Bay. This week is unique to AYTT...
It's a special opportunity for program participants to immerse themselves in the yoga lifestyle, to come together for training, experiential education, yoga practice, delicious Ayurveda cooking, comradery, fun, lots of teaching tips, rest, and the joy of spending 7 days with friends in a unique seaside setting.
On the final day, we celebrate with a special AYTT graduation ceremony. Instruction, food and lodging are all included in the cost of the program.
The Weekend format program will run at the Fall River Yoga Centre in Nova Scotia.
RESIDENTIAL
(2) The next 2 x 12 day residential Yoga Teacher Training program takes place in April and July 2012 (for a total of 200 hours), and provides essentially the same program as the weekend format, with all of the above residential incentives. The location will be Windhorse Farm, New Germany, Nova Scotia.
