Training in the Kripalu Tradition

Atlantic Yoga Teacher Training (AYTT) has two 200 hour certification programs, providing the guidance and skills necessary for someone to confidently teach mindfull and heart-based beginner yoga classes, for all ages and abilities.

Our programs are experiential and holistic in nature and provide trainees with a practical understanding of many basic skills needed to deal with a wide range of ages and physical abilities.

Graduates are eligible to join the Kripalu Yoga Teachers Association (KYTA).

AYTT has very experienced staff and is the only recognized training in the Kripalu tradition in Atlantic Canada.

Kripalu Yoga is a timeless modern practice which evolved naturally from the oldest known yoga tradition, and has archaeological evidence dating back 5,000 years. The Kripalu tradition includes many colourful figures, who helped pioneer and evolve authentic yoga techniques known today.

Our Approved Accreditation

AYTT is registered with Yoga Alliance — see our Certificate of Registration.

Graduates are also eligible to join Yoga Atlantic and Yoga Alliance.
