Inner Self-Intensive
A 7-day Residential Retreat

This experiential program is designed to help Yoga Instructors further their involvement with Yoga, by exploring some of the rich range of yogic practices that provide important tools for living a more joyous and fulfilling life.

The program will include the following:

  • Renewal of personal Yoga practice with fresh approaches to "being here".

  • A powerful guided breathing Kriya that helps to purify body and mind. This practice aids in reclaiming energy that has been tied up with limiting habit patterns, and harmonizes and strengthens the nervous system.

  • Introduction to the practice of Japa, using the power of sacred mantras. Japa was considered by Patanjali to be one of the most important practices in Yoga.

  • Various techniques to bring alive the principles found in the Yamas and Niyamas, the all-important foundations of Yoga practice.

  • Guided periods of Mouna, the ancient Yogic practice of Conscious Silence. Instruction on how to navigate Mouna with wisdom and skill, in order to maximize the benefits.

  • A clear overview of the different paths of Yoga - Gyan (knowledge), Bhakti (Unconditional Love) and Karma (action), and including an in-depth presentation on the Gunas.

  • Guided meditations and evening Satsangs with joyous Chanting.
